In-mold decorating (IMD) and in-mold labeling (IML) has become the process of choice for high quality, durable labeling and graphics. In-mold decorating or in-mold labeling process is a preprinted label or decorated applique film insert to the opened injection mold and held in place via vacuum ports, electrostatic charge or other method. Encapsulate the decoration or label permanently in the finished injection molded part when the plastic injection mold is closed and the plastic resin injected to the mold.

In Mold Decoration designs allow a large variety of printed colors, textures and finishes all decorated on second surface of the foil, while providing superior reliability, life time abrasion and environmental resistance.
